Haven't been around for a while so went to check out some sites and found one shocking and very sad thing.
Don S. Davies, the beloved General Hammond died on Sunday from a heart attack.
I've met him a couple of times and he was a great guy and wonderful storytelling.
Fully details are on the Wolfevents site. - Mood:sad

Have had a bad few weeks especially with computers. Which finally means that my computer got wiped of everything, I have got it up and running but very limited, so I'm asking for any websites or things that you think I should have on my computer. I would be very grateful and hopefully June will be a lot better than May. | |

OK, so Jimmy Jean-Louis cancelled for GMEX and Showmasters said they couldn't get the BIG name they were trying for (Hobbit and Heroes mad days BIG), but then what do they do announce Adrian Pasdar>>>>
I know I saw him at LFCC but very tempted to meet him again and get a single photo mostly just to wipe out the bad memories of the last time I met him and I get to touch him again. But this brings up other issues like going both days as there is a few photos with people I quite fancy getting and then that runs into money issues as I want to go to Birmingham the week later, but as its for only one person really do I ask someone to get the autos for me as its a hell of a lot cheaper and gives me a least one free weekend before the end of the year or do I miss out on something this weekened?
I wish I only liked one show.......... well maybe not its would be hard to decide which one. - Mood:confused

OK, so was thinking about doing a day to SG12 as JR BOurne is going and I really want to meet him and since it was a small thing thought it would be ok....untill this morning.
Beau Bridges has been announced so not only do I know want to go for the weekend, but ticket sales are going to increase quickly and at the mo can't afford to get one.....
Still probably go with a really high number, no M & G, but still get to see him!!!!!!! - Mood:cynical

OK, today was spent with my friend Dawn and Beefeaters..... we went to The Tower of London which was great! We both like history and spent 3 hours walking round the tower area.
The hating part......
1) We drove part of the way and was held up by traffic 'congestion' which was mostly due to trucks being slow and taking up most of the lanes.
2) I never want to see steps again. We walked from Blackfrairs tube station to Tower Bridge..should have taken 19 minutes according to the sign, it was a nice day and we thought it would be good to walk along the riverside.... they are doing construction which meant detours which included lots of steps.... then of course the tower has winding staircases to go up and down.
My conclusion of the day... was fab but you only meant to feel this rough afetr a weekend con!!!!! - Mood:exhausted

Hope everyone is ok after all the rain and broken computers. I just haven't got round to posting, and no-one really reads this anyway so its just me waffling.
Anyway, my favourite group of boys(Man Utd football) were playing tonight, only a friendly, good job as we lost, but the ref was iffy...... but it brought back the feel of going to matches, only problem is most of the home matches clash with cons........
Its holiday time, so you may get random updates throughout the next month before school and autumn con season starts. - Mood:devious

OK, so joking aside the past week has seen as much rain as we should have in a month, in some areas in one day. To those affected my prayers and hugs, I hope there isn't too much damage and you are ok.
The weather forecasts heavy rain (surprise there) over the weekend so I have a slight dilema...
.. Due to all this rain, and the expected rain and further flooding on Saturday, do I go to Memorbilia on Saturday and risk it? Normallly, i would say yes if there is someone I really want to meet, but there isn't was just goignt o buy things which I can do online or at the local shops also my fellow coners can't make Saturday and I have a date with the Face of Boe on Sunday.
So I need some advice, do I go to Birmingham on Saturday when I really don't have to with this risky outlook of more heavy rain and flooding? - Mood:thoughtful
